The Manalapan Township Fire Service and the Englishtown Borough Fire Department are involved in a written mutual aid agreement for coverage in their respective districts. When responding to a fire alarm, buildings are often unattended and firefighters cannot afford to wait for someone to arrive at the site with a key. To remedy such a situation, The Fire Prevention Bureau is registered with the Knox Company.
