On or about July 27th, the final 2023/2024 preliminary tax bills were mailed. Taxes for the third quarter (Q3) are due on August 1, 2023. The Township of Manalapan permits a 10-day grace period in accordance with NJSA 54:5-67; however, due to the delayed mailing, the grace period has been extended to August 24, 2023. Payments received after 4:00 p.m. on August 24 will accrue interest charges calculated from the original due date of August 1st.
Payments may be made by mail, on our website (WIPP), online through your bank bill pay service or placed in our drop box. The drop box is located on the left wall outside of the municipal building.
The Tax Collector’s office hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Payments left in the drop box after 4:00 p.m. will be considered received as of the next business day.
The Tax Collector’s Office will have extended hours on Thursday, August 3rd from 8:30 am to 7:00 pm.
Residents can view and/or pay taxes (WIPP), print a copy of the current tax bill and calculate interest to a future date online at www.mtnj.org.
